Egyszerűen nem is tudom, hol kezdjem, annyira gyönyörű volt. Az eddigi részek közül ez volt a legmeghatóbb – talán a dalok miatt, talán Cade kishúga és Irak miatt, vagy talán mindezzel együtt.
K. C. Lynn mindig valami szívszorítóval indít, csakúgy mint most, és habár tudtam, hogy mi történt Cade testvérével, mégis sokként ért a brutalitás. Gondolhattam volna, hogy Cade és Faith könyve lesz a legfájdalmasabb, de azt nem, hogy egyben a legcsodásabb is. Pedig az lett. Ez a könyv maga a hit, a reménység. Megérinti a lelked. Megmutatja, hogy hiába van tele a világ akadájokkal, ha van miben hinned, akkor képes leszel őket leküzdeni, és tovább menni.
Faith olyan lány, aki mindig a fényben él. Aki kedves, és jószívű, segít az embereknek és sosem adja fel a hitét. Még akkor sem, amikor a élete legszörnyűbb hetét kell átélnie a pokolban. Irakban ismerkedik meg Cade-del, akit teljesen megbabonáz a lány, és olyat érez, ami már nagyon régóta nem. A lány gyönyörű hangja vonzza őt hozzá, aki egy kisfiúnak énekel.

Azon a pár napon belül, amit együtt töltenek, mély kapocs alakul ki közöttük. Ezért, amikor Faith bajba kerül, Cade egy percig sem gondolkozik azon, segítsen e neki, vagy se.
Hiába a sok nagydarab védelmező szexi pasi, az írónő női karakteri annyival erősebbek, és ezt imádom. Faith volt az, aki nem csak Cade-t mentette meg, hanem Christopher-t és Ruthie-t is – igaz ők is segítettek neki a gyógyulásban. De a lány tiszta szíve volt az, ami véglegesen összehozza őket.
